After breakfast, we leave the hotel heading to Tierra del Fuego National Park. During the route, an experienced guide will tell us the peculiarities of the park, its history, fauna, flora and the geography of the region. Our first stop is in the charming station of The End of the World Train that is located close to the National Park entrance. We visit the station to hear a little bit of its history. Those who want to take the train ride can do it at this moment and enjoy the 7km of an exclusive route inside the park. The train ride takes around 1h and, besides the incredible view of the park, you can hear the history of this old train (consult us about rates).
For those who do not want to take the train ride, we walk close to the train station, where we hear from our guide the history of the place and take pictures of the region and also of the train going back to the station. When everyone is together again, we head towards the park. Inside the park we take a route to show you the main sights of the park. It’s 30km stopping in specific sights to appreciate. We stop in the famous Lapataia Bay, where we can walk through decks and look at the sea and Andes mountain range. It is one of the most beautiful spots in the park. There we also reach the end of Route 3, in other words, the end of the world. In this point there a historic board we can register the moment we arrived in the end of the most southern part of the world.
Then we follow to the Roca Lake, also called Acigami, where it’s possible to see part of the chilean andes mountain range and appreciate a magnificent view of the lake surrounded by native forests. The guide will take us to a small trek around the lake. After that, we stop in a snack bar where we can go to the toilet, drink a coffee or eat something. In the meantime, we can enjoy the great view.
The Post office of the End of the World is another attraction inside the park, where you can stamp your passport and/or send a postcard from the most southern part of South America. This post office remains closed from May 15th to October 15th, not being accessible by vehicles. When possible, we also stop in this sight. After having this general view of the park, we go back to Ushuaia.

DAY 4 – July 7th – USHUAIA:
After breakfast we board on the boat in the touristic port of the Beagle Channel through Paso Chico. The channel is divided in the middle between Argentina and Chile by an imaginary line. Then, we navigate in argentine waters, but we can also see the mountains and islands of the Chilean side.
When the navigation starts, we can see the “Ushuaia Bay” and how beautifully surrounded by mountains and glaciers the city is. A precious and historic view of Ushuaia. We can imagine how europeans saw the area when the first boats arrived with its fire points, where the natives were warming themselves.
On the way we pass by the Bird Island where we see several marine birds from Tierra del Fuego like skuas, albatross, seagulls and cauquenese ducks.
We arrive at the famous See Lions Island, where we will see two different types of sea lions (1 fur and 2 furs). We see them swimming or simply sunbathing with cormorants (birds that look like penguins in the distance).
Navigating a little further we arrive at Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. Next to the lighthouse we see more colonies of cormorants, the imperial ones and also rockers. Throughout the tour we hear from the guide a bit of a local history and explanations about the animals and islands that we are seeing. We return along the Argentine coast, where we see Playa Larga and the port.
• Port fee ($20 pesos).
