We left Ushuaia for the beautiful Ruta 3 to the valleys.
Arriving at the starting point of the trail guide gives us a brief statement to get to know a little more than we experience in 4, 7 km of trekking to the laguna.
Enter then in a dense forest of Lengas, walking on a spongy soil, different, known as mobs. Met with streams of unique coloring.
We see on the way the work of beavers.There Are trees with trunk gnawed and posible do some Beaver watching. We walk and heard the guide about the characteristics of the flora and fauna of the region.
After 2 hours of walking with stops for water, we arrived at Laguna Esmeralda.
Place where we see a huge Green lagoon.
The lagoon is fed by the imposing glacier Ojo del Albino, that makes up one of the most beautiful postcards of the Patagonia Argentina. Upon arriving in laguna, we can see the mountains where is just behind the glacier lagoon. A scenery really magnificent!
